Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa Reopen

Set on the banks of one of the most breathtaking waterways in the world, in a town rich with ancient antiquities, Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa is reopend, following a US$45 million dollar master makeover that has taken almost 3 years. Located within minutes of the Temple of Karnak and the Valley of the Kings, the 236-room Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa has been entirely transformed to emerge as a dazzling new retreat that echoes the majesty of the thousands of year old treasures that surround it. The guiding design principle of the new resort has been the River Nile, meaning that five of the seven dining options, and half of the guest rooms, have been adjusted to reveal spectacular vistas over 170 metres of prime river frontage. And the new focal point of the resort has become an infinity edge swimming pool seemingly built into the lip of the Nile.

The first and the most interesting thing to do in Egypt is obviously to explore the archaeological wonders. Egypt is the land of the majestic pyramids and mega-temples. So, if you go to Egypt, make sure that you see each and every place of historical interest in Egypt. The great historical Egyptian monuments are the Giza pyramids, Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, Great Sphinx of Giza, and the Luxor Egypt. Most of the people know Egypt by its great pyramid of Giza. In fact, it claims to be the only remaining Wonder in Egypt. Still it is the number one destination for holidays in North Africa. All of these ancient places reflect the interesting artifacts of Egypt. So, if you are in Egypt, you must not miss a visit to these great places.
It seems that the Karnak complex takes its name from the nearby, and partly surrounded, modern village of el-Karnak, some 2.5 km north of Luxor.
